A year in review. Just to revive my old writing skills which by now is rather poor, apart from the poor credit I give them for the longer testimonials I leave on facebook. I think its a good time to put them back into some perspect of literacy and any point lacking affluency shall require pardon. Im not doing too well in the vocabulary department and as peter would say poor form, is only poor when you think the form itself has dropped within you. ok maybe i made the latter half about it a lot more dramatic.

Well so we came here on september the 5th. which is pretty long ago, but i think regardless of how everyone else has been feeling, I barely felt homesick upon touchdown and it just seemed like another trip abroad of some form. However so, it is in my deepest of veins the undeniable fact that missing the family and the home and the cousin brother has affected me at some point or other. However so, Ive the most awesome family ever thats so ever-supportive and I thank them and God for that.

So moving on, 1 year came and went by like a cuppa tea for meself. Wasnt the most eventful of years but the fact that its an educational year more than an actual western-calendar-ised one would suggest that the summer months may indeed change my perspective on the year.

Im going to do a picture tribute rather than a long and undoubtedly boring post with just plain black letters.

The people who mean so much to me who came for my mini-farewell at KLIA. The second half came later on ( yeah right like after 2 million hours of jam apparently ) but still, the gifts and cards and sweet thoughts you guys made me was beautiful. And Shaun and Lydia and everyone else who ran the entire stretch till the aerotrain banging the windows to keep me company, I love you guys to bits. And Shaun, my mom has agreed, IM coming to surprise you in Australia soon man !




Then came Belgrove and the empty and simple house. Which I dusted till I dropped. & unpacked for days till everything was in place. And then came meeting new people, speeches, orientation days, meeting new people, making new friends, well the butterfly in me wasnt outta the coccoon just yet. And then slowly got to know people and things changed slowly and so on.

And Medball. Bloooooody eventful !! When I discovered Ryder's kissing weakness. ewww ! and met loads of new people and was a good night to express your inner social self. And also your superb dance skills. Which I have no doubt victor gave his best shot at ! Also the night when Luke stepped on my foot and I lost the cufflinks from that special someone.



And the extremely unexpected 18th birthday !! Which I think Ive thanked everyone and if I havent, a million thanks - Thats one birthday I cant forget now can I ?



And the night we celebrated Tegpal's 19th. WOW that night sure was a fantastic one and undoubtedly a fun one too !! The baking was amazing much i'd say !

Then came the exams ( Biochemistry prick !! ) and then Turk's head ! Which is STILL the BEST night out Ive had !

& then I went home for ages like !



That musta been the best trip home, I spent almost every day out met everyone who was home and had a blast of a time !! It was GRAND !! Geez Im gonna miss these people whom I might not meet in years to come !!

Then more nights out after I came back before Malaysian Night !!


And I personally think that Abe and Jason look good with long hair - people who disagree with me I dont want to know of. Hhahaha. Okay then came the biggie - Malaysian Night !!

Emcee-ing was a blast & I think everyone should give it a try someday !! It was great fun & it was the best things ever !! Met many people, and saw good friends in my fellow dancers, who needless to say, dance splendidly, regardless of what others may say, I think everyone did such a good job, and it did honestly exceed my expectations ! Well done guys !!



Fantastic pictures but Ive only got about 10 since I was constantly away and didnt get a chance to take many !! Was a good night all in !!

Then came many other random times and dinners and good outings !! I didnt make it to quite a few cos I felt reclusive after Malaysian Night- my bad guys !!


Hahaha and that was tong's first clubbing night out. It was the mid-term-end class party ! A lotta people turned up and it was mighty craic. Was a fantastic day really & hope there are more to come with everyone to go !!

We then had a quiet celebration for Eugene and Jason to celebrate their 21st's !! Which was at Trocadero in town. Nice place with the perfect ambience for a romantic dinner. And well we just pretty much fitted just in. I seem to have LOST ALL my pictures from this. Im quite upset.Where did I place them I wonder. yonkeeeeeee !!


Then came Easter - When I jet setted myself off to Manchester and Nice for 2 weeks. Oh well almost 2 weeks, lacking at most 2 days. And boy was it amazing !! Im gonna be bloody selective here cos Ive over 1000 photos accumulatively from these 2 vacations !!

And then came more parties and nights out !!

And then came the time to study for exams. The parties were good, the company just keeps getting better and life just holds the best twists at the end ! And im 210% glad whatever happened in the last year happened the way it did.

It just struck me to think about the year in passing and I realised it was an amazing one. Sure I had the ups and downs like all others, but somehow, I found that faith and that power, the drive that kept me going. And dear god, you placed all the crumbs for me to pick up and understand. Im just glad that it has taught me to be more apprehensive and understand others more.

Thanks everyone for the fantastic year !! Cant wait to usher in many more events with you guys !!

Just before I end, I want to addsome thoughts off my mind's-pensieve :

- There is nothing worse in life than being unable to be yourself. Nothing at all. Thats the one gift that God has given us all for free. Free will, the one thing that'll change how we are and what we make of our lives. No one in this world can change or challenge free will, and thats what makes us who we are. Some of us dont take it in, some of us live on it. Just remember whatever it is, thats the one thing that matters !!

Guys, all the best working, I myself have been rather poor with work but Im sure you'll all have uber fantastic times !!
